Dr Kapil K Raina graduated from Dr R Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata in 1988, followed by MD from IBAM and Certificate Course in Oral Implantology from CCD. He has been in clinical practice in West Delhi since 1989 and heads the Coordination of International Service Learning Program of the School of Dentistry, University of Florida in India, besides being the founder secretary general of Delhi Kolkata Dental Forum and Vice President, IDA West Delhi Branch and Joint Secretary of the IDA Delhi State Branch.
He has served as the honorary dental specialist to the Governor of AP and associated with ITBP and SSB, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, as specialist dental consultant and was instrumental in rendering quality dental care, planning and up gradation of existing dental facility and better Dental Health care delivery system in the forces, along with floating the idea of planning Dental Cadre in the CPOs and sanction thereof. Apart from being associated with various schools of West Delhi and working extensively in dental awareness among school children, he is actively involved with continuing dental education programs as a speaker and has a number of articles in Dental Journals to his credit.
